DBT - Dialectical Behavioral Therapy - Skill based therapy to manage emotions

This online 12-week DBT group is divided into three skills training units:

Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation and Distress Tolerance. A digital copy of the modified DBT book is provided along with Diary Cards and other DBT materials to help you understand and practice the skills. Cost: $50 per group/$180 per month.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) provides clients with new skills to manage painful emotions and decrease conflict in relationships. DBT specifically focuses on providing therapeutic skills in four key areas.

Emotional Regulation

Covers strategies to manage and change intense emotions that are causing problems in a person’s life.

Distress Tolerance

Is geared toward increasing a person’s tolerance of negative emotion, rather than trying to escape from it.

Interpersonal Effectiveness

Consists of techniques that allow a person to communicate with others in a way that is assertive, maintains self-respect, and strengthens relationships.

Learn the skills to increase mindfulness, improve interpersonal effectiveness, and manage emotional regulation and distress tolerance with a 12-week DBT course.
