Do you take insurance?
Yes I take insurance through Headway where you can use your Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United, Cigna, Oscar, and Oxford insurance plans to pay for mental health care with more insurance partners coming soon.
There are some major benefits to private pay in therapy including: your medical record stays private, your diagnosis will not go on your permanent record, and insurance cannot dictate how many sessions you are allotted. However, we can offer you a superbill that you can submit to insurance for possible imbursement.
As private pay therapists in the State of Colorado, we are not able to provide counseling services to those who have Medicaid and Medicare coverage.
How much does it cost?
$150.00 per 50 minute session.
How long are sessions?
50 minutes
Do you offer telehealth sessions?
Yes!
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy may be right for you if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or simply want to better understand yourself. You don’t have to be in crisis—therapy can help you navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
What happens during the first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your history, your goals, and any questions you have. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that feels supportive and tailored to your unique needs.
How often should I attend?
Most clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions, depending on their goals and current challenges. As progress is made, many transition to less frequent sessions. We’ll work together to determine a schedule that best supports your growth.
Do I have to talk about my trauma?
No. Therapy moves at your pace. Building safety and trust comes first, and you will never be pressured to discuss experiences before you’re ready. Healing doesn’t require reliving every painful moment.
What if I don't know why I feel this way?
That’s more common than you might think. You don’t need to have all the answers before starting therapy. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, nervous system responses, beliefs, and life experiences to better understand what’s contributing to how you feel.
What's the difference between coping and healing?
Coping helps you manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and situations in the moment. Healing goes deeper by helping you understand the patterns beneath your struggles, process past experiences, and create lasting, meaningful change. Both are valuable, and therapy often includes both.
What makes your approach different?
I believe lasting change begins with understanding yourself—not just reducing symptoms. I integrate evidence-based therapies with a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, nervous system, beliefs, and patterns so you can respond more intentionally and live more authentically.
