“What you are is what you have been. What you’ll be is what you do now.” ~Buddha.
Life can be incredibly challenging, especially when you’re carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, trauma, or other emotional struggles. You may find yourself stuck in painful cycles—ruminating thoughts, sleepless nights, emotional overwhelm, or physical symptoms like chronic pain and muscle tension. You might feel disconnected from yourself, unsure of where to turn, or exhausted by trying to hold it all together.
If this resonates with you, I want you to know you’re not alone, and there is a path forward.
My name is Danielle Dickson, and I am a licensed therapist in Colorado with 9 years of experience. I was born and raised in Littleton, CO, I was a single mother for 15 years before I remarried. I have 3 beautiful dogs who will occasionally be seen in my virtual therapy sessions. My passions are learning about spiritual and energetic techniques, spending time in nature and finding new holistic or natural approaches to physical and mental health.
For more than 10 years, I have worked with adults across Colorado who are seeking more than just symptom relief—they’re searching for healing, clarity, and often, a deeper sense of meaning. Many of my clients are introspective, sensitive, or existentially curious. They often resonate with a transpersonal lens—one that honors not just the psychological, but also the holistic approach to emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions of healing.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your unique experience. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back and build the tools and insights you need to move forward with more ease and authenticity.
I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, solution-focused and narrative therapy, as well as person-centered and insight-oriented approaches. These methods allow us to work holistically addressing symptoms while also exploring root causes, past wounds, and inner patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Clients often come to me struggling with things like low self-image, racing thoughts, emotional dysregulation, relationship conflict, and difficulty adjusting to life’s changes. Whether you’re navigating the lasting impact of trauma, the ups and downs of bipolar disorder, or simply feeling lost in a fast-paced, overwhelming world—I’m here to support you in finding steadiness, connection, and renewal.
I offer virtual sessions to adults across the state of Colorado, making therapy more accessible and flexible for your lifestyle. I accept both insurance and private pay options.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel vulnerable, but it’s also an act of courage. If something in this profile resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. I’d be honored to support you on your path toward healing and wholeness.
