Do you take insurance?
Yes I take insurance through Headway where you can use your Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United, Cigna, Oscar, and Oxford insurance plans to pay for mental health care with more insurance partners coming soon.
There are some major benefits to private pay in therapy including: your medical record stays private, your diagnosis will not go on your permanent record, and insurance cannot dictate how many sessions you are allotted. However, we can offer you a superbill that you can submit to insurance for possible imbursement.
As private pay therapists in the State of Colorado, we are not able to provide counseling services to those who have Medicaid and Medicare coverage.
How much does it cost?
$125.00 per 50 minute session.
How often should we meet?
As a general rule, to build a good foundation for the therapeutic relationship, we recommend to start that you come to therapy weekly or biweekly. After a month or so, we can check in and see if it still makes sense to come weekly or if you are ready to move to meeting less frequently. However, we can be flexible with individual circumstances.
